1 Kazakh, 2 Uzbeks Arrested In US While Headed To ISIS, Syria

You might ask by 1 Islamic radical from Kazakhstan and 2 from Uzbekistan would be living in Brooklyn. At least you would if you were old school. Nowadays this sort of question won't get asked in the liberal media. These guys were just arrested while planning to go to Syria to fight for ISIS/ISIL/Daesh/Islamic Caliphate. The Kazakh, Saidakhmetov, was arrested in JFK International.

Sure, Saidakhmetov talked about killing Americans if he didn't manage to join the caliphate. But is that any reason to stop him? Or is it instead a reason to make sure he gets to Syria? Another one of them, Juraboev, did not intend to come back. Well that's good. Free flight out for anyone who wants to leave and does not intend to come back. Work for you?

I am being serious. Shouldn't we let help all the West's jihadists go to Syria? Granted, that's bad news for Syria's Christians. But we could help the Syrian Christians who are arming themselves to fight the Jihadists. We could give the Christians (and Alawites and Druze and Shiites while we are at it) really cool weapons (tanks, mortars, anti-tank weapons, 50 caliber machine guns) and close air support. How about carving out a Christian state somewhere in the Middle East for all the refugees from Iraq and even Egypt? Put them together in one place, heavily armed.

The interpretation of Islam embraced by the Islamic Caliphate is pretty 7th century. The Islamic State fighters created a place to attract the extremists and pull them out of the West. Lucky us. We should be grateful and make use of their efforts.

Globally, there is a migration of people toward more affluent societies (at least those societies which will let them in). There is also a migration of people to live among people of like mind. I think we should have less of the former and more of the latter. Let people get away from those of opposing views who would impose their views on those with dissenting views. Let extremists congregate together away from everyone else.

Globalization is creating absurdities in America. Why should we import Muslim religious extremists and then arrest them when they try to leave to go fight Jihad? They shouldn't have been here in the first place. What I'm wondering: How much more absurd will America become as the 21st century plays out? I see conditions developing that should create much greater absurdity in the future.

I would rather not just let would be jihadists go freely to fight for the IS. They are just going to commit atrocities over there and add to the resources of an entity that we are de facto at war with. Arresting them keeps them off the battlefield and gets them out of our hair.

Although I do like your idea for a middle eastern Christian State, I suspect it would be about as popular as the current Jewish one, only without the resources to make their state a going concern. Israel had first world trained and educated immigrants. Any Christian state there would be primarily local goatherders. Either way, they'll be slaughtered.

Dear Parapundit:
I read a source, apparently quite knowledgeable in Middle East affairs (I am not that source.)
He writes about military successes of ISIS or Islamic Caliphate.
And indeed, if not for that success, nobody would care about one more group.
The source claims that it is the cadres of former Saddam Hussain's military
that are at the business of building Sunni state. Being mostly Sunni,
they have no prospects in the existing State with Shia majority.
They (cadres) tolerate the religious talk of the mullahs,
the more so that it helps them to mobilize masses for the war,
but themselves are not religious fanatics.
Apparently, those military are relatively competent.
Disclaimer: statement about some sort of technical competence by no means
constitutes my approval of their intentions or methods.

Here's a theory for you:

Feminists are a phenotypic morph.
Feminism is political-ideological weaponization by that phenotypic morph.

Polymorphism in biology occurs when two or more clearly different phenotypes exist in the same population of a species—in other words, the occurrence of more than one form or morph. In order to be classified as such, morphs must occupy the same habitat at the same time and belong to a panmictic population (one with random mating).

"Stay or stray? Evidence for alternative mating strategy phenotypes in both men and women"

This study shows there are two disitnct phenotypes within human populations. Promiscuous people and non-promiscuous people. Promiscuous = low digit ratio=higher testosterone=short-term mating strategy.

"Feminist activist women are masculinized in terms of digit-ratio and social dominance: a possible explanation for the feminist paradox."

This study shows that feminists are masculinised in terms of digit ratios=lo digit ratios=higher testosterone.

This explains why feminism is about changing society from long-term to short term mating. It explains why they defend women being sluts. It explains why they defend women cuckolding. It explains why they defend and agitate for women to pursue careers and achieve self-provisioning sufficiency. And it explains why they try to change the culture to support these values and necessarily oppose their anti/inverse values.

Thus, there is no right-wing war on women. There is a right wing war on the short-term mating or feminist or matriarchal morph.

Likewise there is a left-wing war on the long-term mating or anti-feminist or patriarchal morph.

And here's the catch; most women are in the long-term mating / anti-feminist / patriarchal morph.

In other words. feminism is anti-(the majority of)-women.

In all fairness, in "old shool" days those peripheral former Soviet republics such as Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were very secular: during the Cold War against the Soviet Union, NATO viewed these Asian Muslims as an asset, not as a liability. But recently they are becoming much more radicalized, thanks to the literalist religious schools that are being subsidized from outside, most notably Saudi Arabia. (Afghanistan was an exception, but originally it was not part of the Soviet Union.)

When things start looking this absurd -as you point out- it's time to ask ourselves if "our" American Govenrmnent is supporting ISIS or has any interest in keeping it kicking.

Remember, the world is a stage. We no longer live in a world of nations, Randall. The world is a business.

What do you think ISIS's religious extremists talk about when they hold their private meetings? Alah?, Mohamed? No, they talk about money; how much they have to continue operations, how much they can make, how many more machine guns they'll need to buy and how to ensure the survival of their institution. Just like Wal-Mart.

I wouldn't worry much about ISIS extermists doning much harm to America. 25% of Americans don't know that the Earth acutally moves around the Sun. Only 48% know that humans come from other animal species and 50% believe -as a scientific fact- that our date of birth and the position of a plantet influence our destiny.

There are some other forms of extreme terrorism in America that are more silent and subtle, but a lot more dangerous and effective.
