Illegal Alien Murderers Get To Stay

If you expect to be poorly governed, with national policies set in ways that work against the best interests of the majority, you won't be disappointed. Stephen Dinan reports on how the Obama administration won't even deport criminals.

Immigration officials knowingly released dozens of murderers and thousands of drunken drivers back into the U.S. in 2013, according to Obama administration statistics that could undercut the presidentís argument that he is trying to focus on the most serious criminals in his immigration enforcement.

I think we need a way to lobby lots of billionaires to get stuff fixed. The government isn't going to listen to us when we protest against insanity. But the government would do something about it if some of the billionaires lined up on the same side as the middle class on some issue.

The real scandal isn't that Obama is doing it, but that it gets so little coverage in the press. The degree of partisanship and censorship in the American press is alarming. Some judge in Montana or wherever gives a man guilty of statutory rape a suspended sentence and it's in a thousand papers. Obama frees almost 200 murderers who should have been deported, and it's mentioned almost nowhere.

That would be great, but the flaw in your plan is that the billionaires do not care at all for us little people. Many of them made their money by doing some very slimy things along the way. And it seems like the only reason they meddle in government is to create barriers to entry or corrupt the free market in some way that benefits them.

What would be effective would be to protest at their houses.

Unfortunately the right is way too civil for that sort of thing.

The interests of the elite do not align with those of middle-class Americans. Unemployment? Immigration? The elite want lots of cheap immigrant labor - they don't care if ordinary Americans find it difficult to get jobs. Education? The children of the elite attend the best private schools - no financial aid required, of course. The schools are glad to admit them, hoping that one day their families will make big donations. Crime and violence? The elite live in secluded private estates with armed security guards. Health care? The elite go to the best doctors and hospitals, mostly paying cash for what they receive. Sorry, not much common ground there for meddle Americans, who are becoming an endangered species anyway.

Immigration, immigration... If we describe the immigration issue in sexual terms, the US used to be this beautiful teenage girl playing hard to get to all that immigrant promiscuity and rightfully so I might add; but years have passed. Now the US has turned into a wrinkled middle-aged bitch with the same attitude -as if that attitude continued to be worth the f**k-...... I mean guys don't flatter yourself so much. The US ain't such a great place to come to anymore, bad economy, decaying infrastructure, orwellian surveillance, inequality, police brutality, family/friendship dessert, lousy weather.

Who cares if the US regime continues to play hard to get for hard-working immigrants. There are many more options out there.

Interesting. I'm sure you'd agree that virtually none of those descriptors would have applied to the US in the 1950s, when we were still that "beautiful teenage girl playing hard to get." However, after nearly five decades of actively encouraging tens of millions of "hard-working immigrants", with or without legal status, to flock to our shores, now you tell us we aren't worth the trip.

I can't imagine what changed.

Unfortunately there may not be a peaceful solution to this problem, in the same way there was no peaceful solution to many past wars.

The question is whether there will be a war, or whether one side will capitulate utterly without a fight, as seems almost likely at this point, given the sniveling cowards and outright traitors filling the Republican ranks.
