Marco Rubio's Plan To Further Impoverish The Lower Classes
James Antle III asks
Will Marco Rubio's immigration reform win Hispanics for the GOP--or just impoverish working Americans? The correct answer: Just impoverish working Americans.
Rubio joins the Democrats in the pursuit of their goal of a greater surplus of lower skilled workers. The wages of the lower skilled and less able members of society haven't declined far enough.
Rubio sounds like a Bozo. As Daniel Larison explains,
Rubio is also associating himself with Bush, McCain, and the neocons in foreign policy.
Since he first arrived in the Senate, Rubio has been going out of his way to associate himself with McCain and Graham to the point that he has become something of a caricature of a Republican interventionist. This could be proof that “the neocons appear to be more firmly in control than ever,” as Heilbrunn says, but it may also be that Rubio is miscalculating and letting his ideology get the better of him.
How the worst Republic Presidential candidates should dress:
Bozo the Clown!

What? Nothing on
Rubio's cosposorship of a radical expansion of H-1b visas?
"A bipartisan group of Senators is planning to introduce a bill that allows the H-1B visa cap to rise automatically with demand to a maximum of 300,000 visas annually. This 20-page bill, called the Immigration Innovation Act of 2013 or the 'I-Squared Act of 2013,' is being developed by Sens. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), and Chris Coons (D-Del.). It may be introduced next week. Presently, the U.S. has an H-1B visa cap of 65,000. There are another 20,000 H-1B visas set aside for advanced degree gradates of U.S. universities, for 85,000 in total. Under the new bill, the base H-1B cap would increase from 65,000 to 115,000. But the cap would be allowed to rise automatically with demand, according to a draft of the legislation."
Oh, yeah, I forgot. The problem is we aren't just giving full citizenship to all those gifts from God to the US.
Or maybe there's no problem at all since we all know that each H-1b visa creates more jobs than it takes which means the only explanation for the higher unemployment rate since the importation of millions of high tech laborers is that we just didn't import
enough of them! Or maybe the explanation is that US citizens are so xenophobic that they're causing the immigrants to suffer from from sterotype threat rendering them incapable of delivering their potential which, in turn, means what we really need is a DSM category to involuntarily commit all those unemployed aging boomer techies so they can be cured of the psychopathologies.
Perhaps US Immigration officials should imitate the medical policies Israeli used to resolve their ethnic problems.
From the Huffinton Post:
"An Israeli government official has acknowledged that a number of Ethiopian women who were immigrating to Israel were injected with a long-acting contraceptive without understanding the consequences of the treatment."
