Mitt Romney Wants To Overthrow Assad In Syria
On the Middle East Tweedledee would not be an improvement over Tweedledum.
He called for the United States to “work with partners to organize and arm Syrian opposition groups so they can defend themselves” — a policy that goes somewhat further than Mr. Obama’s but falls short of the airstrikes advocated by Republicans like Senators John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.
Well, at least he's not advocating boots on the ground.
Overthrow of minority dictatorships in the Middle East just leads to dictatorship of the illiberal majority and ethnic cleansing of Christians. Why should the US government favor this?

Excellent point, especially given that Romney claims to be a Mormon.
In the case of Obama, I can "understand" because it has been claimed that Obama is still influenced by the Islamic background of his father, and hence it logically makes sense to think that the reason Obama wants to remove the Assad regime from power is because he wants the Islamic fundamentalists to take over Syria and persecute the Christian minorities.
But for Romney who is a devout Christian, there is no excuse!!!
More immigrants! Of course, nevermind that many (most) of those immigrants/refugees won't be Christians but will instead be Muslims. Who cares? Destruction of America's white, Christian majority is the real goal, along with guaranteeing that Israel's enemies get detroyed and held down at no cost to Israel.
How 'bout we destroy the Syrian regime if Israel promises to take in any Christian refugees resulting from the mess?
If America is really supporting terrorists to do that kind of crap, I'm really going to get pissed!
