Obama Healthcare Pretends Not To Fund Illegal Aliens

Obama and his allies are trying to deceive us.

No where does the bill require verification of one’s eligibility on citizenship or immigrant status. Not in the Medicaid part. Not in the Health Insurance Exchange. Not in the government-run insurance option. Not in the taxpayer subsidy for health premium payment. Nowhere.

Robert Rector of the Heritage Foundation has noted this radical departure from other public and means-tested programs. He said at the National Press Club that those seeking to enroll in welfare programs must “be able to substantiate that you’re in the country legally” or for legal immigrants “that you’ve been here over the time limits for eligibility.”

Rector said H.R. 3200 “turns that [eligibility check requirement] on its back and tramples it into the dust. It basically says we will not verify; we will not check.”

In several places, the legislation defers the writing of details to the health bureaucracy. That approach lets lawmakers say “such-and-such isn’t in this bill.”

Modest proposal: We deport all the illegal aliens so that the bill's coverage of health care for illegal aliens becomes irrelevant. While I'm at it: We stop all legal immigration of low to medium skilled immigrants. Set a very high bar for how much money an immigrant has to earn in order to come here and take a job in the United States. How does $75k sound?

Our immigraton policies should make sure immigrants are not a burden to the rest of us. They should be required to pay for their own medical insurance (and that of any family member) if their employer does not provide it and they should be required to pay for it several months in advance so that they don't go off of insurance and stick us with a bill.

The age-old argument against deportation of illegals is always "it's simply impractical to deport them all, besides it would be way too expensive".

As opposed to providing taxpayer-subsidized health care for them all (and their future dependents) from here on after?

I agree wholeheartedly with this post. We sure are screwin' over working-class whites and blacks. Think of all the day maids, construction workers, dry-cleaning employees, farm workers, slaughter-house workers, janitors, fast-food workers, warehouse workers, and the like who were working-lower-class whites and blacks who have seen their earnings stagnate over the past 15 years. Its amazing. These people were not criminals, just the working Joes and Janes. Now they are truly beginning to be the "working poor". We dont make our police officers compete with what cops make in Mexico. We dont make our fireman compete with what fireman make in Mexico. We dont make our teachers compete with what teachers make in Mexico. We dont make our government workers compete with what bureaucrats make in Mexico. But we -do- make our construction workers compete with illegals from Mexico, as well as in many other occupations. The "elite" do not care about these people, but they are the folks whose offspring fight our wars and do the dirty, unpleasant work. Now we have decided to immigrate in a helot class that will inevitably get sick of their status and will agitate for change. Their agitation will have a racial undertone, and we are very bad at facing that historically.

Union Workers are being replaced by WetBack Union Workers. The Union Officials seem to not care who pays them dues so long as they get the cash. Illegals pay the same dues, don't go to meetings and don't file grievances because they stay low profile to keep from being caught. Just another arm of the New Communism that is taking over America, Just look at who we have sleeping in our White House.

Old1, keep the kids home Sept. 8 and, if questioned, say they are down with a bout of Obamanosis. If America is a melting pot, we need to turn up the heat!

Its time to re-examine instant citizenship (Anchor babies) which hasn't been illuminated enough, to growing concern of the American public. For decades now pregnant women have arrived on tourist’s visas, through the fence and even at ports of call. Very aware of our mis-interpreted law governing "birthright citizenship", that attributes full rights to the Mother of an illegal immigrant. How can Americans benefit from this Health care reform package, when we must subsidize millions of households and not just the original interloper? Outlined in the spring issue of the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons is an article that will stun a prudent person. An illegal alien entered the states in 1997 to work as a fruit picker, bringing with him his wife and three children; all illegal aliens.

The lady gave birth to a fourth child, and with that birth the family had an "anchor baby"—an American citizen by birth, who provided the entire family with a free pass to remain in the United States permanently and collect government, subsides. Unfortunately the baby was born prematurely, spent three months in the neonatal incubator, and cost the San Joaquin Hospital more than $300,000. Meanwhile, the oldest daughter married an illegal alien and gave birth to her own anchor baby, and then Cristobal’s wife gave birth to yet another baby. ALL PAID FOR BY—YOU!

This is just one taxpayer example of the 'Rule of law' that has cost taxpayers billions of dollars. A nurse admitted last weekend, according to Review-Journal reported that cash-strapped UMC hospital in Nevada is providing more than $20 million a year in emergency dialysis care for uninsured, illegal immigrants. Is American society insane when poverty stricken Americans are turned away, go bankrupt and sometimes die? TAXPAYERS ARE TAXED FOR THIS, BUT NOT FOR OUR OWN PEOPLE? We must insist that a Birthright Citizenship lawsuit be filed with the federal court and its original intent revisited? That E-Verify should be fully funded and a highly skilled MIT team, building on the original Immigration enforcement database to a highest level of security that cannot be compromised by the use of fraudulent documents.

The PC oriented application must be installed permanently on every business computer across this country? ICE should have the manpower to audit every workplace, with the power to arrest and detain employers who snub immigration laws? Repeat offenders should be dealt with harshly, including prison and confiscation of business assets. There should be no mitigating excuses because illegal immigrants are—STEALING JOBS-- on any rung of the employment ladder? These employers for years have been an intended magnet for destitute labor in many cases, but have left the burden of paying for schooling for the children, health care and a veiled miscellaneous core of government handouts to US taxpayers. THIS IS NOT ABOUT RACISM, BUT AN ULTIMATE FINANCIAL MATTER OF SURVIVAL FOR US ALL! Coincidentally, I want a government health care, specially for some low income American family members.

Insist your politicians guarantee E-Verify is fully funded and is not scuttled by Sen. Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Janet Napolitano or any other high ranking Democrats. The Washington switchboard has their number at 202-224-3121. Research these laws, true facts and incredulous stats at NUMBERSUSA & JUDICIAL WATCH
