Omar Bakri: Fitna Looks Like Mujahideen Film

While the Muslim countries protest Dutch politician Geert Wilders' film Fitna one Muslim radical cleric points out that Fitna interprets the Koran in a way that agrees with his understanding of that text. (scroll down to watch Fitna)

Iran called the film part of a "vendetta" against Islam. Several hundred people took to the street in Pakistan and the government summoned the Dutch ambassador. Muslim Bangladesh said the film could have "grave consequences", while the Indonesian government called it "racist" and "an insult to Islam", yet called for calm.

Omar Bakri, the Libyan-based radical Muslim cleric who is barred from Britain, did not think the film was very offensive. "On the contrary, if we leave out the first images and the sound of the page being torn, it could be a film by the [Islamist] Mujahideen," he said. [...]

Says Robert Spencer At Jihad Watch:

The formerly UK-based jihadist hits the nail on the head: for all the rage from Muslims about how Fitna "links Islam with violence," that link has already been made by the jihadists, who never aroused any significant rage among their peaceful brethren. The jihadists quote Qur'an to justify their actions -- it wasn't Geert Wilders who had to go hunting in the Qur'an for verses that matched those actions.

The offense then is that a non-Muslim drew the connection between the words in the Koran and what Muslims do today. For the Jihadists and their tens of millions (at least) Muslim fans and supporters the connection that Geert Wilders draws between the Koran's text and the terrorists is already obvious. Yet the operators of LiveLeak.com received so many death threats from Muslims they dropped Wilders' film from their site. The reason for the threats about Fitna is simple enough: The film is a call to action aimed at non-Muslims. Whereas the Jihadists want the non-Muslims to meekly submit to dhimmitude as second class citizens under Muslim rule. Some European politicians are eager to comply. As Steve Sailer points out, the severe criticism that the European elite aimed at Pym Fortuyn got Fortuyn killed by a leftist sympathizer of Muslims.

That also reminds me that, unlike all the respectable voices, I've always been even more upset by the murder of Pym Fortuyn, a potential Prime Minister of the Netherlands, in 2002 than by the murder of Theo van Gogh in 2004. The van Gogh murder was the obvious result of letting a whole bunch of Muslims into the country, a problem that can be solved (granted, at vast expense) by paying them to leave and other sensible reforms. The only solution to the West's Muslim problem is to disconnect.

But Fortuyn's assassination was carried out by a well-educated Dutch-born white leftist the day after the climax of the "Two-Week Hate" against immigration-restrictionists that swept Europe when Le Pen won a spot in the French Presidential final. When Fortuyn was murdered, respectable voices across Europe opined that Fortuyn more or less had it coming. The European Establishment excused themselves from any responsibility by blaming it all on animal rights craziness.

Here is the 10 minute movie Submission that got Theo van Gogh killed and forced Ayaan Hirsi Ali into hiding.

Many members of Europe's elite want to silence the critics of Islam.

Following the assassination of van Gogh, the Minister of Justice of the Netherlands, Piet-Hein Donner, proposed to reinstate blasphemy as a criminal offence. In the United Kingdom Islamophilia runs amok. The July 7 bombings, which killed 55 people, seem to have reinforced the taboo on criticism of Islam. The London police chief, Ian Blair (Tony’s parrot, though unrelated), said the bombings could not be qualified as “islamic terror” because “Islam and terrorism do not go together.” Politicians and opinion makers assure us that Islam does not condone terror and that we must support the “beleaguered” Muslim community. With every act of terrorism the press becomes more friendly towards Islam. The Guardian has virtually become al-Guardian.

Here is part1 of the Fitna movie by Geert Wilders:

Here is part 2 of the Fitna movie by Geert Wilders:

A buy-out option to pay Muslims to leave Europe would enable people like Geert Wilders to once again walk the streets of Amsterdam.

Thanks for posting this, being brave unlike the quaking semi-human cowards who refused to allow it to be published in there countries or on certain facilities which allow terrorists and others to do so.

Xenophilia
HERE'S WHY 4000+ of my fellow Americans died for nothing:
A lot of my neighbors are Mexicans, for example. And we have a lot of interesting ethnic stores around here. You can see signs in stores written in Chinese, Korean, Spanish, and Arabic. I love it!

There's a halal butcher shop over on Canyon road. It's behind what used to be a kind of run-down Quickie Mart-style store, which I don't think was actually associated with any franchise. Like most such stores their main business was selling lottery tickets, tobacco, beer, and candy/munchies. I used to go there to buy soda. The last time I visited, it was changed quite a lot -- and they didn't carry soda any longer. The wall between the mart and the butcher shop had been torn out, and they were putting in shelves and turning the whole thing into an Arabic/Muslim ethnic food/stuff store. They're selling hookahs now, for instance.

There's a video rental place. All the video tapes look like bootlegs to me, and nearly all of them are from Korea. Not too useful, really, especially since I don't have a VCR. But someone must be renting from them or they'd have gone out of business long since.

A halal butcher shop. A MUSLIM butcher shop. ''I love it!''. The 9/11/2001 attacks ''I love it!''.
AND THIS IS A ''conservitve''?!?!
WDF? If muslims are not deported immediatly (as in RIGHT NOW!!!) 4000+ American ''troops'' became headstones in Arlington for nothing.

So far, since Google and its subsidiary You Tube are hosting the Fitna movie of Geert Wilders, we must admit that Google is being very brave. I hope that this courage continues... Thus for Google, the issue is "to do evil or not to do evil."

Here's something disgusting - the expected "politically correct" response to the film from our "leaders" (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,343351,00.html). Stephen Smith, the Australian foreign minister, worried that the film would "increase discord" between groups. Well, yeah, it might, sort of like crashing airplanes into buildings, blowing up railway or subway stations or beheadings. Similar blather from the EU and the UN, and it wouldn't surprise me to see Rice or even W. himself drop by with some "religion of peace" crap. We are at war with Islam, not radical Islam, but Islam. We are at the same stage with Islam now as we were in the mid-1930's with Hitler, when many in the West sought to appease him in the hope that he would go away, or in the 1940's with the Soviet communists, when many western intellectuals actively collaborated with an evil force that was committed to their destruction. The sooner we wake up to the danger that Islam poses, the better off we will be.

The less noticed issue is that many European countries, especially Germany, Netherlands, France, have a high percentage of their exports export income derived from trading with Muslim countries. Especially Germany would be totally devastated if Muslim countries stop buying from them. Lenient immigration and good treatment of Muslims is nurtured as the national policy of many European countries in order to maintain those export markets. It thus follows that the Muslim population of Europe will increase for many more years in the future, to much higher proportions. And, as a general rule, because immigrants are usually concentrated in big cities, their political influence will also be felt much sooner. For instance, although only 7 % of Netherlands is Muslim, 30 % of Amsterdam is already Muslim, and by 2020, it is projected that Amsterdam will have a Muslim majority. Similar statistics will materialize in many European countries in a couple of decades.

Randall Parker said at April 1, 2008 9:06 PM:

Statistics,

The Muslims don't refuse to buy from China or Japan just because those countries won't let Muslims immigrate. The idea that the Euroes must let in Muslims in exchange for export sales is absurd.

Statistics said at April 2, 2008 6:43 AM:

Randall Parker,

China and Japan have never been open to immigration in the past, but Europe has a history of immigration from the colonial times, and as such it is the focus of attention for many Muslims who want to emigrate. Also the European goods are more expensive than Chinese goods. Currently most of the foreign trade of Iran is with Germany. Muslim countries can easily blackmail Europe by buying more from China, and this is the main fear of Europeans. The proof being the fact that the Dutch businesses are threatening to sue Geert Wilders if their trade with Muslim countries suffer as a result of the Fitna movie.

I think that people who link Islam to terrorism are deeply wrong. They even don't know the salute of Islam "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and his blessings too." The word of Islam itself means to be totally surrender to the orders of God. Muslim means the one who people are safe from, the bad use, his tongue and hand as the prophet said. The Holy Massage of Islam is to "complete the good morals." The so-called terrorists are against the Islamic spirit and instructions; we have a verse in the Holy Qur'an that says the one who kills a soul without the reason of revenge or the reason of the corruption in the earth, he will judge as if he killed all the people. And the one who saves it will judge as if he saves all the people. What the western countries suffer from is there their injustice in treating the Muslims and Islam and the long time of occupation the middle east countries in the past, their supporting for the Zionists and the American war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Be fair to live safe.
