Big British Out Migration And White Flight From Cities
Can you say "disenfranchisement"? Sure.
A record number of British citizens are leaving the country, according to official figures published yesterday.
An unprecedented 196,000 left the country last year, with Australia, Spain, America, New Zealand and France the most popular destinations for those seeking a new life.
The exodus is countered by high levels of immigration, with the Office for National Statistics saying that 574,000 people came to live in Britain between June 2005 and 2006.
A small island with 60 million people does not need more people. Besides, if the elites won't crack down on crime then the criminals among the immigrants are an even bigger burden than they'd be in countries with tougher policies on crime.
The new figures also suggested that middle-class Britons are beginning to move out of towns in southern England that are home to large numbers of immigrants.
This phenomenon - called 'churn' by Whitehall officials and 'middleclass flight' by other commentators - saw 240,000 people move out of London last year.
"Churn". I love it. Churned stuff tends to go around and around. So politically correct ideologues side step the lack of a return path for these English folks when they leave the cities. Or maybe they think they are whipping white cream to make colored butter?
A comment by "Celine" explains why she is going to leave Britain:
My husband and I will be leaving the country in the next few years, leaving it to the scroungers. Why? Because we are taxed, taxed, taxed and receive nothing in return. The public transport system is falling apart, while, at the same time, the government is conducting a war on cars. Council taxes keep going up but, at the same time, the council keeps cutting services. Most of all, crime keeps increasing. We live in a quiet village, but this year already, three of the shops have been robbed, two of the times by men wearing balaclavas. The railway station is regularly vandalised. The playground equipment is vandalised. Nothing is safe and the government does nothing but arrest law-abiding citizens for crimes against political correctness and for defending themselves against thugs. We've had enough.
The voters need to get mad as hell and vote out the leftists. Why don't they?
Brits are going to become a minority in their own country.
But the findings also demonstrate the impact immigration is having. A quarter of British babies are now born to a foreign parent and in some local areas in London, Oxford and Essex the population has grown by up to 14% in five years, largely as a result of immigration.
"We have figures for the contribution of mothers and fathers born abroad and that has risen slightly from under 20% in 2001 to slightly over 25% now," an ONS spokesman said. "That reflects the cumulative effect of immigration over the last 40 years."
Why don't they? Because Labour has done an astonishing thing. It has created a vast voter infrastructure entirely for itself using taxpayers money. Immigrants vote labour. Single mothers vote labour. The unemployed vote labour. And, most important of all - the white working class will NEVER vote conservative. In the last two elections the conservative leader has come out vehemently against immigration, yet this doesn't increase its share of the white vote because, for unusual historical reasons, the working class is incapable of voting Tory. So while they vote conservative (Called the 'Liberal' party) in Australia and the barriers go up, in Britain this doesnt happen. Unlike in America - the British leftwing elite don't have to worry about losing their vote to the conservatives, so they plod along with whatever immigration policy they feel like, knowing it won't cost them votes. It's mostly the white working classes fault for not voting conservative.
Most of these immigrants are whites from Eastern Europe though.
pg. 31 and 41 here:
2002-2006 from my calculations a little over 60% of the migrants are white from former colonies or Europe.
Please explain further to us here in the colonies why the white working class in England is incapable of voting for the Tories.
Beat me to the punch. That is not the endorsement Britain should want. Migrants feel they can find better opportunities elsewhere, and see Britain as an increasingly undesirable place to live. Polish immigrants can do just as well at home, when living costs are considered, without facing the level of crime or the upward pressure on prices that is coming to characterize so much of Great Britain.
The speed of White British displacement (particularly since the avowed immigrationist Mr. Blair took office) is simply breath-taking to behold and must be seen to be believed.
Britain will most probably pip the USA to the post for reaching White minority staus.
The white working class views the conservatives as a kind of toff elite, oxbridge educated pansy's. while people like john howard or ronald reagan are able to be conservative and portray the left as elitist, this is well nigh impossible for the british conservatives as historically, although certainly not anymore, they have been the party of the cultural elites. also the reforms of maggie thatcher were hated by them as well.
Audacious Epigone :
To be fair, some white Brits don't like white European immigrants either. :-)
These ethnic attacks on Eastern Europeans in the UK, especially in the Northern areas of England and in Scotland are becoming more common.
The Scots appear not to want any immigrants, white or otherwise.
The problem is that the Scots and Welsh vote Labour 99%, they have high levels of immigration too but not compared to England. The Political center in England is to the right of Britain we are dragged left-ward by people who don't have the same immigrant problems.
AE, so what if they are 'white', its far too simplistic to divide the world into white, brown and black as leftists try to do, no country should be swamped by foreigners same colour or not.
There in recently years has been a rise of the 'far-right' in England, that has started pushing the 'Conservatives' into 3rd place in some areas as people look for an alternative party. Its a mistake to think people would vote 'Conservative' to solve the problem, most people think they are so close to the Labour party in reality it makes no difference which is no power, I personally would prefer Conservatives but imo they would only slow the problem not reverse it, we don't have democracy in Britain, there are no decent alternatives and the winner of the last election only got 22% of those eligible to vote.
As adrian said, Labour are corrupt they have imported foreign voters, dramatically increased the size of the public sector and numbers of people living on welfare both of which now have a vested interest in voting Labour.
The Conservatives/Tories are blamed by the working class for closing down the coal mines, shipyards and various other heavy industry, although in many cases that blame is ridiculous in some its very understandable, such as the British fishing industry which was screwed when Ted the traitor Heath signed over British waters to the European Union.
DH, the English don't want immigration at this level either, any time anyone does an opinion pol asking it is massively against the current immigration policies.
Polish have come to Britain in numbers approaching 2 million in the last 2 years, yet when established Poles were asked what they thought about immigration from new EU countries since EU enlargement they were against it. Its nothing to do with racism they just didn't want done to them what they did to the workers before them by driving down wages even further, which is totally understandable.
Brits aren't willingly being displaced it is being forced on us by the liberal globalist elite, just as in America.
From these statistics and other it can be inferred that at the very minimum, 30% of births in Britain are non-White.
Considering the rate of increase of this birth-rate, a majority of births will be non-White in perhaps twenty years time.
Anyone who tries to claim that the Conservative administration of 1979-97 was 'tough' on immigration is seriously delude.
Granted, immigration was not at the ridiculous levels seen under the avowedly immigrationist Mr. Blair, but despite all claims to the contrary MASSIVE immigration occured during that period - particularly of sub-continental Indians and sub-saharan Africans.
At was during this perid that abuse of 'political asylum' really took off seeing the mass immigration of countless Somalis, Sri Lankans, Bosnians, Albanians et etc (most of these groups were unknown in the UK prior to 1979).
It is amazing just how selective some people's memory can be.
Oh, and by the way Mr. Blair is only following the advice laid down by his beloved (and Thatcherite) Economist magazine.
Reading an internet correspondence on the scottish independance issue recently, one remark made me laugh out loud.
An Englishman posted a comment that trotted out all the usual (but fallacious) lines that England's taxes somehow 'subsidize' Scotland and Scotland keeps the socialists in poer over the English.
An irate and irascible Scotsman ever handy with a blunt and canny remark (such is their way), posted this corker i way of reply;
"The English should go back to the Continent - and they can take their Pakis with them".
Nothing impressive about that comment at all Funster.
The Scottish originally came from Ireland and took over from the Picts, perhaps they should go back there?
(The Irish originally came from Northern Spain as the last ice-age was ending, That was ofcourse Spain before they had all the Moorish blood though..)
The fact is the Scottish do get substantially more per head than the English (whether its justified is the issue), and the Scottish voting for authoritarian socialists as a block vote does have a big impact on the political climate in Britain.
The comment is a nonsense because it is both the Scottish nationalists and socialists who are major supporters of mass-immigration and English nationalists who are against it, and Scottish nationalists who are supports of the European Union you know that power structure based on the continent, while English nationalist are opposed to it.
So it seems like the English nationalists are more in tune with the commenter you refer to than the Scottish parties.
